🧾 Getting Paid

Card fees: eat them, surcharge, or build into pricing?

2.9% + 30¢ on every card payment adds up — on $300k/yr of card volume that's ~$9k.

Three approaches:
1. Eat it — cost of doing business, cleanest customer experience
2. Surcharge — legal most places now, but customers hate seeing it
3. Build it in — raise all prices ~3%, offer a "cash discount"

What's your approach? Anyone switched and regretted it?
