Community guidelines
Shop Talk is for people who run (or work in) sign and print shops to talk honestly about the business side: pricing, getting paid, software, hiring, and growth. Keep it useful, keep it real.
- Be specific and generous. Real numbers, real stories, and what actually happened beat vague advice.
- No spam, no drive-by promotion. Vendors are welcome to participate as people; posting to sell will be removed. (Yes, PrinterFlo hosts this — the same rule applies to us: the forum is not an ad.)
- Criticize ideas, not people.Disagreement is useful; insults aren't.
- Don't post anything confidential— customer names, private pricing agreements, or anything you wouldn't want public.
- First posts are reviewed. A moderator approves your first post before it appears; after that you post freely.
